Show Sewing Cuties 4-H Hold First Project BY TERESA FORSBERG The "Sewing Cuties" 4-H club held its first project meeting Wednesday at 1 p.m. Leader of the club is Carolyn Hill with Jan Hill assisting. MEMBERS include Lynette Betteridge, President; Jeri Hill, Vice President; Mari Christiansen, Christian-sen, Secretary; Brenda Homer, treasurer; Teresa Forsberg, reporter; Kim Brown, Party Planner and Leslie Walker, song leader. For their sewing projects they will make a skirt and matching bonnets and aprons to wear to the 4-H Camp in Monte Cristo Aug. 2,3, and 4. OTHER activities they will do together this summer are attend 4-H Lagoon Day, enter their projects in the Davis County Fair and give a party for their parents. , In other years the girls have completed a year of a "Home Improvement" and two years of "cooking." THEIR NAME is changed from "Sewing Cuties" or "Kitchen Cuties" depending upon the project they are studying. |
