Dick and Josie Telford, of Firth, Idaho, were in attendance atten-dance at the reunion, inspite of the fact that their home was in the Idaho Falls path and was ruined. They are in the process of finding a place to live. Temporarily they are in a small Sr. citizens' apartment apart-ment in Firth. They were on a fishing trip when the flood hit, but, through the kindness and quick action of neighbors, most of their belongings were saved. The Robert J. Telford home in Rexburg was on high ground, so they were able to help others not so fortunate. They say that the devastation is unbelieveable. Back to the Dick Telfords, they were the guests of their parents, the Robert Telfords on Sunday. They were accompanied by children Rick, a wife Patty, I and Ryan, Telford, of Orem. Mrs. Ethlyn Christiansen, Aunt of Wanda Telford, feels very blessed, as the break in her hip is about healed. She appreciates visitors, but needs to be careful yet. Still another bit of news is the coming wedding of Garth Mitchell Woolsey, son of Gen and Roberta Woolsey, to Debra Kaye Christopherson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Jay Christopherson. They will be married in the Logan LDS Temple, on Thursday the 24th of June. They will be honored at a garden reception at the bride's home at 585 S. Main, Providence, Ut. that same day. They will be further honored at an Open House on July 2, 7 to 9 p.m. at 585 N. 800 W West Bountiful. And Vonnie Bangerter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Bangerter, will be married to Mark McSwain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. McSwain, in the Salt Lake Temple, Thursday the 24th day of June. They will be feted fet-ed at a reception in their honor the same evening, at the West Bountiful Second Ward Cultural Hall. Welcome to the Methany family, who has moved into the former Verville home, in the Fackrell subdivision. j Congratulations to Terry . Toone, who graduated from Utah Technical College. He completed the drafting course. It is great when fathers continue with their education and try to make for more family preparedness. |
