Enroute to the coast, Mr. and Mrs. Jacquei pent two day at La Vegas, Nev., where they saw several shows including in-cluding Paul Whiteman and Fred waring. William Sullenger accompanied by a shipmate, Frank McCall, both of the U. S. Navy and stationed on the USS Floyd B. Parks, arrived Monday evening for a short visit with Bill's mother, Mrs. Melon Sullenger Sul-lenger and other relatives. They left Wednesday morning to return to the ship. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley entertained en-tertained at a family dinner on Christmas Eve for their daughters, Maurine, here from Phoenix for Christmas day Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Williamson and family called their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Downard of Vernal .and Clinton Williamson Sr. of Missouri Valley, Iowa, to wish them Merry Christmas. Carol Wiechman is visiting with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Timothy of Union. Spending Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Bentley and family, Bobby, Julie Ann and Deborah, were Mrs. W. A. Kraft of Green River, Wyo., and Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Kinney and family of Murray. Mur-ray. Maurine Morley of Phoenix, Ariz., arrived Christmas Eve afternoon after-noon to spend the Christmas week- i 1 i 11 end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley. She returned to the Arizona city Sunday. She made the round trip by plane. " Spending a few days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Pete Nielsen and family are Mr. and Mrs. LaRay Anderson and family of Wales. Elder Richard L. Evans of Accompanying the couple mru the Temple were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Apostol Jr., Mr. and Mrs. William R. Boren, Mrs. Bud McDonald, Mc-Donald, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Huntsman and Mr. and Mrs, Lllis Boren. A wedding dinner was given the same evening at the Doll House in honor of the bridal pair. It was attended by relatives and a few friends. 29 were present. Here from Lubbock, Tex., for the dinner was the bride's brother, Lt. J. Donald Boren. The newlyweds will honeymoon on their way to Ft. Sill, Oltla... where Mr. Apostol is stationed with the U. S. Army, and where they will temporarily reside. They left New Year's day. The bride is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she be-lonqed be-lonqed to Alpha Chi Omega, and also served as president of Orch-esis. Orch-esis. Mr. Apostol, also a graduate of the hilltop school, is affiliated with Kn.ppa Sigma. J'renuptial parties were given by Mrs. Cene Posselli, Mrs. William R. Boren, Mrs- Wilford Burrows, Mrs. William Klonizps and Mrs. Ronald Huntsman, Carol Wiechman's Sunday School class enjoyed a delightful Christmas Christ-mas . party on Tuesday evening, December 23. Besides Carol, those attending were Ricky Stevenson, Wayne Dimmick, Roy Dorrance, Joe Maldonada, Randy Fae Chestnut, Chest-nut, Nancy Jo Williamson and Kathy Wiechman. The group went Christmas caroling, then enjoyed a treasure hunt, returning afterwards after-wards to the Wiechman home where refreshments were served and gifts were exchanged. Monday night, the Senior and Intermediate Youth Fellowship held a party at St. Paul's Community Church. Games, a business meeting meet-ing and worship were held and the groups practiced for the candlelight candle-light service. Mrs. Eugene Morris entertained at a family dinner at her home Pft Christmas day for Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks and family, J. D. and julee, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Christen-sen Christen-sen of Copperton and Mr. and Mrs Douglas Morris and children, Karen Kar-en and Stephen, of Midvole. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley W, Jacques returned Monday from a very enjoyable en-joyable two weeks vacation in California where they spent the Christmas holidays with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Jacques and family of Ontario. During their stay there, they went to Santa Monica where they danced danc-ed and talked to members of Lawrence Welk's orchestra, atten- the Christmas holidays and Mrs. Jack Thorne and Mr. Thorne and son, Gary, of Murray, Ruth Rebekah Lodge meets Tuesday evening, January 6, 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center with Miss Agnes Sullenger hostess. Election of officers will be held. All members mem-bers are urged to be present. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wiechman and family spent Christmas day and were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Dell Timothy of Union. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Swenson and daughters, Lynn Ann and Celece, were Christmas guests of Mrs. Swenson's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Laird and girls of Orem. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Laird. Luncheon guests Tuesday of Mrs. Eugene Morris were her nephew neph-ew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wimmer and family of American Fork. Mrs. Alice Brisk returned home Tuesday morning from Denver, Colo., where she spent the Christmas Christ-mas holidays with relatives. Christmas vacation ends nex week in Jordan District Schools with students scheduled to return to classes Monday, January 5. Seaman Ira A. Moss left last Saturday night to return to his base at Seattle, Wash., after spending spend-ing the Christmas holidays here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Moss and family. Fire Auxiliary meets Monday evening, January 5, with Mrs. Jean Bentley hostess. Dennis Wiechman left Sunday to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Jenkins Jr. of Union, Mr. and Mrs. David Thorne and three children of Dugway were visitors at the Methodist Parsonage Parson-age last Friday. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Chadwick and family were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jensen and family of American Fork. The occasion celebrated Mr, Chadwick's birthday, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Bentley and children, Bobby, Julie Ann and Deborah, visited Sunday in River-ton River-ton with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Webb and family. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks, and family, J.
