Show Nellie K. Nelson KAYSVILLE Nellie Madeline Made-line King Nelson, 90, of 559 W. Mutton Hollow Road, died Monday, Mon-day, Sept. 12, 1988 at Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of causes incident to age. She was born May 22, 1898 in Kaysville, a daughter of James Frederick and Rose Barnes King. She married Glen Nelson July 27, 1927 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 26, 1974. She was a lifelong resident of Kaysville and attended Davis County schools. She was a member mem-ber of the Kaysville Sixth LDS Ward. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and sewing. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cornell (Joyce) Haacke, Bountiful; Mrs. Vergil (Bernice) Zaugg, Clearfield; Glenna Nelson, Kaysville j 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Chester A. King, Kaysville; Mrs. Bessie K. Moon, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Bishop Rex J. Allen conducted services on Sept. 15. Ben-nett. , Dedication of the grave was by Patriarch Vergil N. Zaugg with interment in-terment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Zaugg, Brett Zaugg, Therald Wells, Jay Haacke, Kelly Haacke and Steve Quilter. |
