The Lindon ward put over a very successful banquet last Friday evening eve-ning in the Lindon hall, when 191 plates were sold. During', the banquet ban-quet the Challenge company gave a motion picture show depicting the : manufacture of butter; from the milking of the cow to the marketing market-ing of the butter. The show also included the beauty spots of the World's Fair and outdoor scenes of the United States. Mrs. Merle Coombs entertained at a bridge-luncheon last Thursday evening. L. Cullimore, who will leave Monday for the mission home in Salt Lake City, preparatory for a mission to the Northwestern States. The Second ward Relief Society Dramatic club will present "Those Dreadful Twins", in the near future in the Second Ward Amusement Hall. The ladies have been rehearsing rehears-ing for several weeks and will be prepared pre-pared to give their usual finished production. The Les Cecil Iennis, musical and social unit of the B. Y. U., of which Miss Gennieve Fugal is president, gave a musical program at the Third ward M. I. A. conjoint meeting last Sunday evening. Miss Margaret Summerhays was in charge of the program. Seventeen out of twenty two members in the unit were present. pres-ent. The Third ward chapel was packed to capacity. Friends and neighbors surprised Mr. and Mrs. S. L. White Friday evening.
