Show Golden Years bazaar set What an opportunity to do your Christmas shopping early with bargains galore! Mark your calendar calen-dar to attend the Golden Years Center bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beautiful homemade articles will be on sale. There is still space available for those desiring to sell articles and goodies for purchase. The center is in need of white elephants and homemade pickles, etc. to be donated do-nated as a fund raiser for the Golden Years. Contact Joyce or Diane to make reservations to participate. The University of Utah will offer a free writing class at the center. Spokesperson for the center, IJorothy Willey, encourages seniors to enroll and discover their hidden writing talents. The class will be on Tuesday, Oct. 30, beginning at 10 a.m. Seniors are encouraged to make it a special day by signing up for lunch. i 1 Flu shots will again be given at the center Oct. 25 at the cost of $5. j Those desiring shots should make ( an appointment soon. j I The next Wendover trip is J scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1, to j the Nevada Crossing. Call the j center for reservations. The cost is j again $12, with $10 in cash and $5 j food allowance. The AARP will offer another 55 Alive driving course Nov. 6 and 7 1 at a cost of $7 which covers handouts. hand-outs. The lunch entrees for Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 are: Monday, Oct. 29, beef stroganoff; Tuesday, Oct. 30, chicken turnover; Wednesday, Oct 31, bones of pork; Thursday, Nov. 1 , ham loafmustard sauce; and Friday, Fri-day, Nov. 2, hearty beef stew.
