Influenza claimed Us toll of deatli in this city during the ,4iast twenty-four hours. Three deaths were reported yesterday afternoon and this morjilng. Mrs. Fern Johnson, widow of Evan Johnson. 26 years of age, passed away this morning, following a severe attack of pneumonia superinduced by Influenza. She was nearly well about one week atro. when she suffered a relapse. Her husband hus-band was killed In a railroad accident seven years ago. Mrs. Johnson is Survived by a son, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Rrs-musson Rrs-musson ; five sisters and three brothers. One of her brothers. Claude Rasimusson, S in Prance with !he American espe.ii-tionary espe.ii-tionary forces. Funeral arrangements have not been made. Other deaths reported are the "-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. ?: C. Soren-sen. Soren-sen. and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew of Fayette, who are making their home in Kphralm for the present. One hundred cases of influenza are re-I re-I ported in Kphraim. |
