SO The traditional fall concert will be presented in the Cottonwood high au- ditorium Wednesday evening when the Colt orchestra and jazz ensemble combine for their 1980-8- 1 debut. A total of 70 Colt musicians directed by Clinton Frohm will participate in the free concert, scheduled just two weeks into the school year. We want to do new this early in the year, Frohm explained the behasty schedule, cause it gives the kids a chance to work hard from the beginning and set the pace for better performances the year. during Many of the orchestra and jazz ensemble members will also play in the musical or marching band this fall, Frohm commented. Both groups being hearsals re- immediately after the concert. The fall concert program will include six numbers by the jazz ensemble. The instrumental soloits will include Jim Cutler on tenor sax, Brett Cannon playing the trombone and Keith Burleigh on the trumpet.
