The collapse of the classic Maya civilization will be analyzed during a spectomorrow evening (Friday) at the Hansen Ancient Mexico. Conducting the lecture is Dr. Jeremy A. Sabloff, an authority on the Maya culture and anthropology professor at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Sabloffs lecture will be illustrated by slides from the Maya area. He will discuss previous theories of the Maya collapse and the implications of recent archeological research.
