Show Mr. and Mrs. John T. Neilson Announce the Marriage Of Their Daughter, Anna Mr. and Mrs. John T. Neilson announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Anna, to Pfc. Maurice Tietjen, son of Mr. and Mrs D. M. Tietjen of Kanab. The marriage ceremony took place in the St. George Temple -Wednesday noon, May 3rd, with Pres Harold S. Snow officiating. Following the ceremony the bride's parents entertained the immediate relatives of the couple at a wedding dinner at their home m St. George. For the dinner, the bride wore her wedding dress' a floor-length model of white slipper satin with corsage of roses Her going away outfit was a powder-blue ensemble with white accessories. Both bride and groom are graduates grad-uates of Dixie junior college, where Mr. Tietjen was prominent in music activities and Miss Neilson in dramatics. For the past several months Miss Neilson has been employed in the purchase office of Douglas aircraft plant in Los Angeles. An-geles. Before coming home for her marriage she was honored with a personal shower at the Mary Andrus Clark residence in Los Angeles, with her sister, Bertha as hostess. Many of their friends from the plant attended. Pfc. Tietjen is assigned to the mechanized cavalry and has spent the past eight months at Camp Adair, Ore. He was recently transferred to Camp Ellis, 111. The couple will leave -Friday for Salt Lake City where they will spend a short honeymoon, before Pfc. Tietjen leaves for his military mili-tary post where Mrs. Tietjen will jpin him later. |
