Show Miss Wanda Cooper Weds Seaman Homer Gibson In Las Vegas, January 17. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1945, was the date chosen by Miss Wanda Cooper Coop-er of Washington and Homer Gibson S 1c of Hurricane to recite re-cite their marriage vows. The ceremony took place in the early evening at the home of Pres. and Mrs. Bryan J. Bunker in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Cooper of Washington Wash-ington and is a graduate of the lower division of Dixie junior college. col-lege. Seaman Gibson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Gibson of Hurricane. The marriage was hurriedly planned while Seaman Gibson was home from his post at Seattle, Wash, on an unexpected unexpect-ed leave. For the ceremony, the bride wore a two-piece suit of plaid wool with black accessories. She was unattended. The parents of both bride and! groom united in. honoring the couple with a wedding dance in the Washington recreational hall Wednesday evening. They will leave Friday for Seattle to make their home for the present. |
