Show PKO. IVYL SMITH l'KISRKKY i ' Memorial Services Held : For Pfc. Ivyl Prisbrey i i WASHINGTON", Utah Memorial Memo-rial services for Pfc. Ivyl Smith Prisbrey were conducted Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the ward chapel with Bishop Alton Jones presiding. The Lester Keate Post No. Oil of St. George officiated in the military rites, with Commander Roy Williams Wil-liams in charge. Pfc. Prisbrey was killed on May 3. 1945, on Mindanoa. and was buried in the Santa Cruze ccme- tery on that island. Speakers at the services were . Legion Commander Roy Williams. Bishop Alton Jones and V. E. Iverson. Musical numbers included j a quartette by W. O. Nisson. Ray i Garner. Mrs. Aggie Sproul and ' Mrs. Mildred Nisson. Other musical musi-cal numbers were a duet, "In the Garden." by Mrs. Roma Morris and Mrs. Mildred Nisson. and a trio. "Sleep. Soldier. Sleep." under the direction of Mrs. Mae Pace. Mrs. Smith Prisbrey and her , mother. Mrs. Carpenter of Salt Lake City, were present for the services, as were Mr. and Mrs. Karl Pymm, also of Salt Lake. |
