Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neiison Reporter The Cotton Factory camp of the D. U. P. held its January meeting at the home of Mrs. Mary Jolley Thursday afternoon. The lesson on the development of lighting systems in Utah was given by Mrs. Aggie Sproul, and Mrs. Walter Iverson gave the history of her Grandfather Cooper. Mrs. James E. Hall assisted Mrs. Jolley in entertaining. Mrs. John Adams left last week for San Bernardino to visit with her son, Donald Adams and family. Merrill Iverson left Monday for San Diego after a short furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Iverson. Guests , Friday of Mrs. Elmer T. Sandberg was her sister, Mrs. Is Pace of St. George, and her daughter, Mrs. W. B. Hansen, who is home from Fort Smith, Ark. . Mrs. Alton Jones entertained the Pinochle club at her home last Friday evening. Mrs. Charles Whipple spent last week here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jolley, while recuperating from influenza. in-fluenza. The Washington Rook club was entertained Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. Alton Jones. - Mrs. Willard .Sorenson spent Sunday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neiison Sr. Kimball Neiison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Neiison, left Sunday for Salt Lake City, where he will report Tor Marine service. Mrs. Garland Neiison left Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake City to resume her employment after visiting several days in Washington. Clave Cooper has returned to his post at Camp White, Ore., after a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rass Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Lafell Iverson of LaVerkin were Sunday visitors in Washington. |
