Show Rockviile Funeral Services Honor David Ballard ROCKVILLE, Utah-Funeral services ser-vices for David Ballard, who died December 26. were held here on Wednesday, Dec. 27. at the ward chapel. Heber Hirschi. first counselor to Bishop Ballard, took charge. Musical numbers were furnished by a double mixed quartet singing sing-ing "Sweet Hour of Praver": a male quartet. "Home On the Range", a favorite number of Mr. Ballard's: Mrs. Von Allred and Mrs. Harold Russell of Springdale sang. "Rock of Ages". Sieakers were Loe Esplin and George W. Wort hen of St. George. Alvin Allred of Springdale. Anthony An-thony Russell of Ogden; Pres. Claudius Hirschi of Hurricane. Marvin Terry and Heber Hirschi of R.x-kville. All spoke of the fine characteristics of Mr. Ballard. Bal-lard. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, a testimony of the esteem all held for Mr. ' Ballard. Grant Langston gave the benediction bene-diction and the grave was dedicated dedicat-ed oy Denorr Ballard of Hurricane. Hurri-cane. There was a large attendance, attend-ance, many coming from the noi"h r.cl surrounding towns. |
