Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. EMMA B. HUMPHRIES Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Emma Bleak Humphries, who departed this life January 13, were held in the school auditorium at Hurricane last Wednesday. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. at-tendance. Bishop Ira H. Bradshaw presided. The opening song, Cast Thy Bread Upon the Waters was given by the ward choir. Prayer, Elder James Jepson. Be Near Me, was sung toy Job F. Hall. A tribute written by Camilla W. Judd was read by Mrs. Mattie W. Ruesch. Speakers were Ira H. Bradshaw, Claud Hirschi, James Judd, Arthur F. Miles, Joseph W. Webb and Russell Rus-sell Swenson. All paid high tribute to the life of Mrs. Humphries, to the family she had raised, and of her willingness to help others. A vocal solo, If With All Your Hearts, was sung by Howard Holt, and the closing song. Oh, My Father, Fa-ther, was rendered by the choir. Elder George WJ. Gibson offered the benediction and the grave in the Hurricane cemetery was dedicated dedi-cated by Wm. W. Spendlove. . , ' , |
