Show EN'TlSliPinsE. Mrs. A. P. Winsor is quite sick. Decoration day was observed here. James Hall is having a new brick house built. Our little town is still growing, two more families moved in last week. We have had several good rains lately and our dry land crops are looking look-ing nice. Mrs. Lucy Adair will leave next Monday to visit relatives and friends in Orderville, Kane county. Norman Fackrell and wife of Orderville Order-ville are visiting Mrs. J. B. Morris here, and will leave for home on Monday Mon-day next. Mrs. Fackrell is a sister to Mrs. Morris. Mrs. J. B. Morris had a very unwelcome unwel-come visitor on the 7th inst in the form of a large rattlesnake. It entered by the kitchen door, and succeeded in giving the inmates quite a scare; but it was soon killed, to the great relief of the family. On the !)th inst. most of the people from this place went to Hebron, to attend at-tend a farewell party given for the benelit of George Holt, Jr., who will start on a mission to the Southern states next Monday. We all had a very enjoyable t line. |
