Fred Cline and Elmer Christian arrived here from Los Angeles last Friday to visit relatives. Donald Ashworth and sister, Miss Irene and Eli Grubic returned to their home at Kimberly, Nevada, last Friday evening after spending the Fourth here. Keith McArthur came in from Ely, Nevada, last Thursday and returned re-turned the next day accompanied by his wife and family who spent some time with relatives here. Karl Savage was a visitor here Saturday while en route to San Diego Di-ego from Ogden. Wm. Gardner who has been seriously seri-ously ill for several weeks, is able to be up and around again. Melvin Bowman returned Sunday from Ogden where he attended school the' past winter. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pickett and son left Tuesday for their home at Garfield after spending a few days with his brothers, Ellis J. and Henry Pickett of St. George and relatives at La Verkin. President and Mrs. Edward H. Snow, daughter Miss Irma, and Miss Lila Welling, daughter of Secretary of State Milton H. The new Dixie College science building has been painted and cal-comined cal-comined the past week and the chemistry department has been removed re-moved from the college building to the science structure. New equipment has been purchased for this department depart-ment and is now being installed. |
