Former resident dies in Oregon Theodore Burton, 78, of McMinnville, Ore., died Sept. 17, 1980. He was born Jan. 23, 19)2 in Vernal, and his early boyhood and schooling were in Vernal. He graduated from high school in Salt Lake City. He taught school in Washington and Oregon and retired in 1967. He was a member and past master of Masonic Lodge No. 3. Survivors are his wife, Hilja Burton of McMinnville, Ore.; two sons, George H. Burton, Salem Ore., and William J. Burton of Mohlc, Ala.;, and two grandchildren.
