OCR Text	Show - i ! J S .' h i- . Ll 'V' Alfred Simper Resident celebrates birthday Alfred Simper, long time resident of Vernal, celebrated his 99th birthday Aug. 3. A family dinner for the immediate family members was held at the Harold Anderson home on Tuesday, with the evening spent reminiscing. On Wednesday evening about sixty members of the family met at the Woodey Searle pavilion for a barbecue and corn roast. A program was given by the grandchildren and great grandchildren grand-children including songs, dances, readings, skits and tributes.
