Show The University placement office urges all December graduates who wish to apply for the California State Services Examination to submit sub-mit their applications today. Application Appli-cation forms and information may , be obtained in the Placement Center Cen-ter office. Applications must be post-marked no later than Oct. 13. The exam is given in California Nov. 11th. Attainment of annual salaries from $13,000 to $16,000 within four years is not unusual according to Sam Morrison, associate as-sociate director of the Placement Center. As you probably know, President Emery has resigned as of July 1, 1973, unless a President has not been appointed by the appropriate governance body pending the ruling of the Utah Supreme Court. The Presidential Search Committee of the State Board of Higher Education met last week and has developed the position that all candidates will be considered, regardless of prior service to the University. This impllfii that no candidate will have priority, except that which is based upon qualifications . Urge students, who would like a particular person considered, to contact either Duane Moss, Paul Haglund, or Colleen Taggart in the ASUU offices in the union Building. He are committed to helping the university by selecting the best candidate available. President Emery has done a good job, and we are committed to finding and selecting a new President who is at least as qualified as President Emery.
