Needless to say we are all very happy for her. The lucky bridegroom is Vern Steed of Garland. Dale Wood returned home AND GET A in. 14 CORDLESS week. Tammy Nessen ompanied him. She came back with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wood who had been in Arizona visiting their parents for a few days. n Mr. and Mrs. Barry and family have been vacationing in Boise, Idaho. While there they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Galloway and then drove up to Napa where they visited the Niel Newmans. Julie Sorensen and Jan and her husband, Tom, were home for the weekend from Ricks, Idaho. The Ray Sorensens attended funeral services Monday for their nephew, Gary Allen, in Tremonton. Mary Hyden and her grandchildren, Kirk, Suzie and Patty spent the weekend in Bedford, Wyo. at the Curly Lloyds. Maurine Formesbeck accompanied other members of her family to Elko for the long weekend. The Dennis Payne family spent the weekend in Roosevelt with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mecham and family. They also took a tour over to Vernal and Dinosaurland. The couple received many beautiful gifts and well wishes from their many friends and relatives. After a short honeymoon the couple will make their home in Logan where they both plan to continue their studies. A large group of friends and relatives were in attendance Sunday evening at a missionary farewell in honor of Elder Brian Grant. Elder Grant is the son of Bishop and Mrs. Waldo Grant and will be working in the Oregon Mission. Houseguest of the Robert Morris' this past week was Roger Nessen of Kaysville. Mrs. Curly Loyd of Bedford, Wyoming was here for. the weekend and visited Mary Hyden and the Lyle Nessens. We as a community would like to thank Sharon Kotter, . Kerry Wood and the Howell Town Board for their efforts in making the Howell display at the fair. Mrs. Lila Myers was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Funk of Garland. Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Nessen were Mr. and Mrs.Val Nessen and son, Salt Lake. Mr.and Mrs.Phil Fidal of Salt Lake were weekend d guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hess. Julie Sorensen and Valene packed their bags and went up to Ricks College last week. They will be coming home now and then through the school year. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Douglas visited Fred Douglas in the David 0. McKay Hospital Sunday. His condition remains about the same. He can and does receive visitors other than the family. Jan and her husband, Tom Galavich, were weekend guests of the Ray Sorensens. Jan and Tom will be living in Rexburg this winter too and Tom will be attending Ricks College.
