Head Coach Caitlin Young, welcomed everyone and commented on their Varsity season. "Being a first year coach, it was an absolute honor and privilege to coach these girls, especially the Varsity girls," she stated. "Even though we didn't score as well as we should have or finished as well as we should have, I still feel that we were one of the more dominate teams in our region. We were the only team other than Brighton to hold Alta to one goal in a half. We were the only team to out-sho- ot teams. We did awesome!". Caitlin continued, "From where we were last year to where we are this year, I think we made leaps and bounds." While everyone ate dinner, they were entertained by a video presentation which was put together by John and Nancy Webster that consisted of highlights from the season. Caitlin announced the Varsity players which are Missy Caldwell, Marci Johnson, Lucy Borland, Kourtrey Dinehart, Bekah Webster, Sam Daly, Emily Wilmore, Alyssa Taylor, Johanna Donaldson, Lydia Anderson, Megan Palmer, Kristine Reynolds, Kaylee Taylor, Britney Johnson, Madie Wells, Megan Wilde, Shelby Hilton, Kenedii Williams, Alicia Daniels and Nicole Andersen. Each girl received a certificate and a with ' "Bigger Than Myself printed on the back: Coach Young told the girls, "Remember the fun rides on the bus, the fun team building activities that we did. As a member of a team you are bigger than something than yourself." Assistant Coach Kaycie Zimmerman spoke of the JV team. "They are one of the hardest working groups that I have ever coached," she stated. "It was really, really cool and humbling as a coach to be approached by your players who want to improve their game. I was very pleased with the JV season. We beat Brighton. Brighton had only lost to Alta the whole season. That was a very great game and very telling of what we hope for in the future of PGHS," she added. Kaycie felt the team sent a message to the rest of the region that PG soccer is going to be different in the future. The JV team players are Megan Francis, Maddy Giles, Taylor Kirk, Kim Nelson, Jenna Dobrey, Kit Goodman, Aubrey Herrera, Rachel Davis, Kaitlyn Mashurn, Sarah Spackman, Cassidy Lucas, Katherine Eide, Ashley McBee, Rachel Eldridge, Abby Dumas, T'naiha Williams, Shelbie Owens and Kaylie Naumann.
