Businesses can participate at various levels, starting at $25 to $1,000 with varying benefits from coupons in swag bags, the business namelogo on T-shirts, newspaper coverage and big banners on the school's fence. Both the 5K and the one mile Fun Run will be held Saturday, Satur-day, April 30, at the PG Jr. High Track. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. with the one mile Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. The fee for the 'one mile Fun Run is $11 and $17 for the 5K. Prices include a T-shirt. The prices will go up after April 1 1 , so register early ! . The goal is to raise $12,810 to pay for the equipment. There are only a few elementary schools in Alpine School District with a music lab like this, so everyone is very excited about this opportunity! oppor-tunity! This 5K event is for the entire en-tire community and there's going go-ing to be a little something for everyone: families, runners, and walkers alike can participate at whatever level they are able. There will even be a one mile Fun Run for younger participants. partici-pants. After the race is finished, there will be a lively atmosphere with music, food, prizes, raffles and booths! They're doing do-ing this for a few reasons: one, the exdtemcttL,iiaving. the Chick-Fil-A cow join them once a month; two, the healthy benefits ben-efits of exercise; and, three, in preparation of the school's first annual PAW Power 5K!
