Father Joseph lloghen officiated of-ficiated over the double-ring double-ring ceremony at the Community Com-munity Church of Green River. The bride js the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy May of Green River. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yama of Moab. The bride, given in marriage mar-riage by her father, those a designer gown of candlelight candle-light peau de soie and re-emhroidered re-emhroidered Alencon lace. The "A" silhoutte, designed design-ed with a portrait neckline, neck-line, edged in lace petals and pearls, had a skirt with appliqued lace, . which flowed to a chapel -length train. A Dutch hat of lace petals held the chapel - length veil of French silk illusion. The bride's bouquet was of baby orchids and baby pink roses. Miss Mary Alice Vetere was maid of honor and carried car-ried a pink carnation and baby pink rose bouquet. The bridesmaids were Susan Su-san Ryan, Yicki Halt and Mary Taylor. The attendants attend-ants wore lavendar slipper slip-per - length gowns of empire em-pire design. Soft gathers lent back interest and each wore matching veils of lavender la-vender tulle. The bride's mother wore a lavandar dress, crepe and chiffon, street length.. The groom's mother wore a street - length pink taffeta taf-feta trimmed with lace. Kay Frank Yama, brother broth-er of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Kenneth May, Bert May and Brent Jacobs. Mrs. Blaine Evans, organist, or-ganist, provided the music. After the ceremony, a reception was held in Hv? American Legion Hall. Guests were received by the bride and groom and parents. Misses Delia Kk-ker Kk-ker and Jeannine Hunt presided at the bride's book. The Canyonlanders Band provided music for the reception. re-ception. The bride is a graduate of Green River High School and a sophomore at Utah State University. The groom is a graduate of Grand County High School and is attending Utah State University, majoring ma-joring in dentistry. After a wedding trip to the west coast, the couple will make their home in Logan, where they will resume re-sume their studies. The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner Friday, September 4. Dinner Din-ner was served to 20 guests at tiie Arbon Cafe in Green River. |
