Booth headed the Repub- , lican ticket to victory, being elected elect-ed mayor over Albert Swenson by a large majority. Booth received 785 votes and Swenson 523. Richard L. Jex, candidate for the office of commissioner, four-yoar-tcrm. was the one Democrat elected, garnering garner-ing 700 votes to win. Others elected, with their total votes, follow: commissioners, two-year two-year term, J. Victor Leisson. 877; G. Ray Hales, 703; David Williams, 741. Recorder, J. P. Christopherson, 764.
