Show MINER GIRL IS BURIED IN SPRINGVILLE Touching Services Held in Second Ward Chapel for Little Gwendelyn Miner. Impressive and touching funeral services were held in the Springville Spring-ville Second ward chapel Monday for Gwendolyn, fifteen-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorn C. Miner, who died suddenly and almost, al-most, without warning Saturda night. The beautiful floral offerings indicated in-dicated the sympathy and esteem extended the parents of the child. William Harmer of the wara bishopric presided at the services. Beautiful musical selections wero rendered by a mixed quartet, consisting con-sisting of Myron E. Crandall, Jr., : AVilliam Andrews, Mrs. Maeser j Crandall, and Mrs. J. M. Pierce. A duet was rendered by Mr. ana Mrs. Earl Sumsion and Elmo CofH-man CofH-man sang a solo. j Bishop J. F. Bringhurst spoke consolingly to the parents and th& . family of the dead baby. I. Ej. Brockbank, president of the Younc; Men's Mutual Improvement association associa-tion of the Utah stake, of which Mr. Miner is a board memlwr, spoke ot the Latter-day Saint view on thft hereafter. James Alma Ure and Bishop Austin Aus-tin P .Miller, both of Salt Lake, who were acquainted with Mr. and Mrs. Miner w?hile in the eastern states mission, spoke of the faithfulness faithful-ness and fidelity of the parents ol the child. The invocation was offered by William Wainwright and the benediction bene-diction by John S. Groesbeck. The grave was dedicated by Moroni Miner, grandfather of th& baby. |
