Show AMERICAN FORK PARKING PLANS Emil Hansen Prepares Blue Prints for Surroundings of Each Public Building. Detailed plana mid blue prints ! for the beantifiention of the premises nromid every public building build-ing in American Fork were presented present-ed to that city Monday by Emil Hansen, landscape artists of the Utah Agricultural college, who is doing extension work in Utah county. Separate plans were made by Mr. Hanson for each church, school and public building in the community commun-ity including the tabernacle and the library grounds. The design of the layout of the ground is indicated and the places where trees and shrubs should be planted with the name of the best variety indicated. A similar set of plans were given for the Lindon Second ward chapel grounds. Mr. Hansen, in addition to preparing pre-paring the plans, is meeting with the community leaders and explaining explain-ing tlie best methods of preparing their ground for the spring planting, plant-ing, and will return in the spring to supervise the work, it is said by J. P. Welch, county agricultural agent, who is assisting Mr. Hansen ns part of the extension division work. Similar plans for the children's chil-dren's park in Springville are being be-ing gone over Tuesday by Mr. Hansen with members of the Kiwanis club which is fostering the park. |
