Show ALL KIWANIS CLUB MEETING Joining with nil of the, 1210 Kiwanis clubs in (he United Slates and Canada, which will moot simultaneously sim-ultaneously at the same hour, the Kiwanis club of Springville will hold a special mooting on "All Kiwanis Night," .Tune 1(5, at 7:45 p. m. At this time the opening session ses-sion of the eighth annual International Interna-tional Kiwanis convention will be held in Denver, Colo. All of the clubs of the continent will arrange their meetings in accordance ac-cordance with differences in time, so that all will join in on the sump kind of a program on the same evening. The feature" of this "All Kiwanis Night" meeting is the "Zero Hour." a fifteen-minute period, when all clubs will simultaneously observe exactly the same program. This feature will consist of a "Fellowship "Fellow-ship Moment of Silence," when all clubs on the continent and the assembled as-sembled thousands of delegates and visitors at the convention will be synchronized witlr each other, a message from Edmund F. Arras, president of the Kiwanis Club International, In-ternational, patriotic songs of the United States and Canada, and a fellowship song, "Onward in Kiwanis," Kiwan-is," written by George S. Holmes, president of the Kiwanis club of Denver. This is (he first time in the uis- tory of Kiwanis, or any similar organization or-ganization as far as is-known, that such a simultaneous meeting has ever been arranged. It is one of the most outstanding examples of unified action that the country has known, and is especially uniiim- !--cause it brings SS.OOO Kiwanians in over 1200 cities together in united fellowship at precisely the same time. A number of radio stations throughout the country will broadcast broad-cast programs consisting of special numbers and a message from President Presi-dent Arras. Messages from M. 10. Crancbill and S. K. Whittalcer, who are delegates f din the Kiwanis club of Springville to the Denver convention will also le read. |
