Show SpringviUe Girl Is Wed In California Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Holley announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Kathleen Holley, to Sam McKell, M. S. 2c, with the U. S. navy, a son of Mrs. Cora McKell of Spanish Fork. The marriage took place on July 21, in the chapel at Treasure Island with the chaplain, Glen Y. Richards, performing the ceremony. ceremo-ny. Attending the. bride were Mrs. Laurel Harvey, sister of the bridegroom, bride-groom, as matron of honor, and Miss Marilyn Clark of SpringviUe, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. brides-maid. The bride was attractively attired at-tired in a rose-colored afternoon dress with black accessories, and she wore a corsage of orchids. The chapel was beautifully decorated dec-orated for the wedding with a profusion pro-fusion of roses and pink and yellow yel-low gladiolas. The bride and groom are graduates grad-uates of the SpringviUe and Spanish Span-ish Fork high schools, respectively, respective-ly, both taking an active part in scholastic affairs. The groom was president of his graduating class. He recently returned from service overseas and Is stationed temporarily at Berkeley, Calif., where the couple will reside for the present. |
