Show ecently Wed. . . ma.-mmm. Elaine Brockbank Is Wed To William D. Prussee A In a ceremony performed in the Salt Lake temple Thursday, Elaine Brockbank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Brockbank of this city, became the bride of William D. Prusse, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Prusse of Provo. David A. Broadbent married the couple and the ceremony was witnessed by the bride's parents, the groom's mother, mo-ther, and his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Taylor of Provo. Honoring the couple, a wedding reception was held in the Second ward hall Friday evening, and attended at-tended by approximately 350 relatives rel-atives and friends. Her floor length veil was of bride's illusion, caught by a halo, and she carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis. Mr. and Mrs. Brockbank and Mrs. Prusse were in the receiving line, with Eric Prusse, brother of the groom, as best man. Mrs. Bert L. Isaac of Spanish Fork was matron of honor, and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Velma Olsen of Salt Lake City, Phyllis Smart, Mildred Parry, Dayma Grant of Springville, and Mrs. Max Gardner of Spanish Fork. The matron of honor wore pink taffeta and held a nosegay of roses and gladioli. Similar nosegays were carried by the bridesmaids, who were attractively gowned in frosted frost-ed organdy dresses of similar design de-sign in alternating pink and blue shades. shades. Mrs. Brockbank wore powder pow-der blue crepe and Mrs. Prusse wore pale green. String music was played all evening eve-ning by Max Butler, Gene Faux, and Miss Nathele Clayton of Provo. Pro-vo. Mrs. Mary Boyer entertained with organ music and the Val Norn girls of the B. Y. U. sang their "Sweetheart" and "Bride" songs and presented the bride with the traditional electric clock. Refreshments were served from a table centered with white gladioli and roses. Lovely pastel gladioli were in profusion throughout the reception rooms and the bridal party stood in front of an artistic arrangement of white and salmon gladioli, flanked by white tapers in tall candelabra. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Henry Gardner of Spanish Fork and Mrs. John Creer of Salt Lake. The gifts were in charge of Mrs. Wells T. Brockbank, Mrs. Fenton S. Gardner of Delta, Mrs. Sperry Manwaring of Provo, and Mrs. Art Naylor of Salt Lake City. The bride's lovely trousseau was viewed at the Brockbank home during the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Prusse left Sunday Sun-day evening for Cambridge, Mass., where he plans to continue his studies at Harvard university. j Mrs. William D.
