Assisting hosts and hostesses were Delia Baxter, Phyllis Weight, Woodrow Weight,, and Kenneth Olsen. The program featured a review of the book, "Giant Joshua," given giv-en in an interesting manner by Delia Baxter. ; Luncheon was served to approximately ap-proximately twenty-five. MRS. PERRY HONORED AT BIRTHDAY DINNER Mrs. Parley Perry was guest of honor at a Sunday birthday dinner on the occasion of her 62nd birthday. Daffodils centered the long dining din-ing table at wThich covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Rudolph, Ru-dolph, and her two daughters of Burley, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lew-is Perry, Mrs. Bernell Perry and her three children, all of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. James S. Perry, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Burt Taylor and two daughters of Springville, Mr. Perry, and the guest of honor. Many lovely gifts were presented present-ed to Mrs. Perry. 'AD LIBITUM CLUB ENTERTAINED In keeping with a spring motif, an entertaining party was given for members of the Ad Libitum club Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Evelyn Jordan. Potted plants were given to each guest as favors. Luncheon was served early in the evening, after which bridge was played, with prizes going to Hortense Harward for the club, and the guest prize to Ann Stewart. Stew-art. SALT LAKERS HONORED AT DINNER PARTY' Members of the Salt Lake Alice Louise Reynolds club were guests of the local unit at a dinner party held at the Valley Tavern Monday Mon-day night. Iris and yellow rosebuds in a beautiful crystal bowl centered the dining table, at which places were laid for twenty-seven guests. Mrs. Esther Haruier, president, conducted the meeting. Kindred and family met in reunion Sunday following general conference, at the Kindred home on North Main street. Gifts and souvenirs brought by Ted Kindred, recently returned missionary from New Zealand and California, were viewed. At 7 p. m. an elaborate dinner was served, with places being laid for the following: Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kindred, Ted and Beth Kindred of Springville; Mr", and Mrs. Clifford Kindred and son Hal, Idaho Falls; Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Webster and family, Brig-ham Brig-ham City; Mr. and Mrs. Berne Kindred, Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. Crede Kindred, Provo; and Mr and Mrs. Earl Fifield and daughter, daugh-ter, Kay, of Provo: Following the dinner, the family fam-ily went to the home of Crede Kindred of Provo, -where motion pictures of New Zealand and Ted's activities there, and also recent family pictures, were shown. NANCY KAE PERHAM FETED AT BIRTHDAY PARTY Little Miss Nancy Kae Perham . Announcement was made this week of the engagement of Miss Rosie Bleggi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Antonino, to Jack C. Bona, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bona of Spanish Fork. Following their marriage, which will take place at the home of the bride's parents, a reception will be held that evening in the Firemen's hall in Spanish Fork. The young couple -will make their home in Benjamin. ORDER OF EASTERN STAR HAS MEETING TUESDAY Valley Chapter Number Three, Order of the Eastern Star, held a regular meeting Tuesday at the Masonir temple in Provo. ' At the close of the meeting, Bethel Number1 Four, Job's Daughters, Daugh-ters, gave the initiatory work for members of the Valley Chapter. The candidate was Miss Eva Crandall Cran-dall of Provo. At the close of the ceremonies, which were very impressive, im-pressive, the girls presented Mrs. Vera Perham, Worthy Watron, with a beautiful bouquet of purple pur-ple and white sweet peas. Refreshments were served in conclusion to approximately seventy-five. TRAILER PARTY IS NOVEL AFFAIR A special potluck trailer party was given Saturday night at the home of Miss Emma Ullock. The girls played a variety of games and enjoyed a delicious luncheon.
