I : ( . i ; Wed In Salt Lake Temple Sept. 20, Couple Are Honored At Reception One of the lovely social events of last Thursday evening eve-ning was the wedding reception honoring newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Paul Evans, who exchanged wedebng vows in Mr. and Mrs. Paul Evans, nee Norma Liechty ther Wilkinson and Carol Beardall were in the gift room. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frandsen and Paul Creer of Spanish Fork were host and hostesses. Mrs. Paul Frandsen was in charge of the guest book. Shortly after their reception, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Mesa Verde National Park. Upon their return, they will make their home ni Provo, while Mr. Evans continues his schooling at the BYU. Both are former students of the "Y" and both are returned missionaries. Mr. and Mrs. Mack V. Pace (Nana Lee Reynolds) are spending spend-ing a month in Springville visiting visit-ing Mrs. Pace's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Jr., and also relatives in Richfield. They have been making their home in May-wood, May-wood, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Roylance have spent ten days in Springville, while Mr. Roylanqe was on leave from the Navy. They have been living at San Diego, Calif. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Roylance and Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds Har-mer. ' the Salt Lake Temple that day. The pretty bride is the former Norma Liechty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Liechty and Mr. Evans' father is forrest Evans of Spanish Fork. The couple received their guests in the foyer of the 8th ward chapel with lovely autumn flowers and tall tapers forming an appropriate background. In a wedding ' gown of white slipper satin, . fashioned with yoke of nylon net, long sleeves and a flowing train, the bride made a pretty picture. Her nylon net veil fell from a braided-satin headpiece head-piece and she carried a bouquet of dark rose-buds. Her attendants included, DaVona Thomas of Leland who stood as maid of honor; while her sister, Vesta Conrad and Edna and Alice Koenig of Glenwood Springs, Colo., whom the bride was associated with on her mission, were bridesmaids. brides-maids. Kenneth Pinegar of Spanish Fork was best man. Others in the receiving line were: Mr. and Mrs. Liechty; also the groom's brother Dean, home from the army and his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Sorensen of American Fork. The father is confined to the hospital hos-pital and could not attend his son's wedding. Carrol Liechty was master of ceremonies' over the interesting program which entertained the large crowd of guests. Vocal solos were given by Scott Thorn and Billy Pratt; also by Kenneth Taylor Tay-lor of Spanish Fork.Mark Money of Spanish Fork gave two accord-, accord-, ion selections and Annie Joy Pine-gar Pine-gar of Spanish Fork rendered two cornet selections. A toast to the bride was given by Mrs. Winona Thomas of Spanish Span-ish Fork, while Darrel Dixon also of. Spanish Fork gave a toast to the groom. The invocation was by Fred White and the benediction by Dick Finlinson. Dainty refresments were served during the evening directed by Alice Al-ice Wilmott, Florence Beardall, Gladys Wiscombe, Effie Thomas and Maurine Mortensen, assisted by Ann Frandsen, Carma Thomas, Margie and Joyce Hatfield, Jane Ivey and Ruth Ann Boyer.
