Show -x 'Bride Honored With Shower Friday Evening Mrs. Fred Childs, the former Ruth Robertson, was honored with a miscellaneous shower, Friday evening given by relatives in the Fourth ward Relief Society room. From long tables centered with vases of red roses and tall white tapers, a delicious lunch was served. .During the evening a nicely nice-ly arranged program was given, including a saxaphone duet by Carl Crandall and Matt Robertson; a trumpet solo, Lee Robertson; a vo- cal solo, Mrs. Leo Robertson, accompanied ac-companied by Edith Nash; a piano duet, Dorothy Cranmer and Kathleen Kath-leen Peterson; a piano solo, Jane Cherrington; a vocal solo, Mrs. Vera Zobell, a vocal duet, Norma and Caroline Robertson; a reading, read-ing, Mrs. Ella Reynolds. The program pro-gram as featured by a review of the book, "I Wanted To See," by Borghild Dahl, given in fine manner man-ner by Mrs. Rea Straw. At the close of the party the bride opened her many lovely gifts. In attendance were about 100 relatives and friends. Arrangements were under direction direc-tion of the following hostesses: Mrs. Belle Childs, Mrs. Retta Har-mer, Har-mer, Mrs. Hazel Robertson, Mrs. Matt Crandall, Mrs. Belle Houtz, Edith Nash, Mrs. Jesse Wadley, Mrs. Muriel Robertson, Mrs. Lucy Robertson and Mrs. Zina Metcalf. |
