Show Couple United In Marriage Ceremony Performed at Los Angeles California 9 ly of Springville, wore a gown of pink net and carried a bouquet of forget-me-nots. The bridesmaid, Miss Emma Seymour, wore a gown of blue net and carried a bouquet of gardenias and , lillies-of-the-valley. The bride was given in marriage by Dr. Leland P. Roberts, formerly former-ly of Logan, Utah, and the best man was Paul V. Seymour of Glendale, Glen-dale, California. A feature of the evening in response res-ponse to the requests of the guests was a group of songs and instrumental instru-mental selections given by the bride and groom. Later in the evening the wedding party drove to Earl Carroll's for an evening of dining and dancing. The bride and groom then left for their honeymoon, after announcing that Mrs. Elfie H. Bagley wishes to announce the marriage of her niece, Tess Hines Hatfield, to Dr. Joseph G. Garrison of Los Angeles, An-geles, which took place Monday, May 26, at the studio of Miss An-nola An-nola Florence Wright. In soft, subdued candlelight, and to the strains of Lohengrin, the wedding party appeared and grouped themselves in an appropriate approp-riate setting for the occasion. The nuptials, the traditional two-ring ceremony, was celebrated by the Reverend Dr. Sheldon C. Shepherd of the First Universalist Church of Los Angeles. The charming bride was attired in a gown of ice blue taffeta of the empire mode and wore an orchid in her hair. The matron of honor, Mrs. Hilda W. Christensen, former- they would return to attend the graduation dinner-dance at the Wil-shire Wil-shire Bowl, an affair which will conclude the commencement season sea-son of the 1941 class of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractics. Dr. Garrison is a member of the staff of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractics, acting as the editor of the Chirogram. Among the guests attending the affair were Dr. Charles H. Wood, president of the L. A. C. C; Dr. Wilma Churchill, secretary-treasurer of the college; and Carl R. Andreason of Provo, Utah, valedictorian valedic-torian of the class of 1941. Mrs. Garrison spent the winter months visiting in Springville, and was prominent in state musical circles. She was a member of the Paranada club of Springville. |
