Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rasmussen (Carma Jean Barker), who were wed in the Salt Lake Temple Thursday. 1 Carma Barker, Gary Rasmussen Wed In felt Lake Temple, Live in Provo The Salt Lake Temple was the scene of the wedding wed-ding Thursday of Carma Jean Barker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Barker of Mapleton, to Gary Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Blaine Rasmussen. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was enjoyed at Harmon Cafe in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. P Blaine Rasmussen acting as hosts. Friday evening a beautifully arranged ar-ranged reception was held in their honor at the Mapleton ward hall. Baskets of gladioli were used in profusion throughout the hall to form a floral background for the redding party. For her reception the bride selected sel-ected a lace and tulle gown. It 'as designed with a lace bodice and the full skirt was highlighted with rhinestones and appliqued ffith lace. An orchid centered her bouquet of stephanotis and elf roses. Bridal attendants wore formal-length formal-length gowns in pastel shades and earned yellow daisies tied into josegays centered with camellias, attendants were Mrs. Clyde Mor-enson, Mor-enson, matron of honor, Fay Sheffield, Shef-field, maid of honor, Joy Rasmussen, Rasmus-sen, Colleen Mason and Marilyn oarker. Katherine Darker was flower girl. Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Rasmussen Rasmus-sen both were attired in pink ?owns to which they pinned cor- ges of feathered carnations and camellias. ron Rasmussen stood as best man.for his brother.
