Weight takes Provo bride in recent home rites In a lovely early winter setting set-ting at the home of the bride's parents, Miss Lynda Lee Roun- dy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Roundy of Provo, recited re-cited marriage vows with Melvyn Mel-vyn R. Weight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Weight of this city. The ceremony was performed per-formed by M. E. Roundy of Boise, Idaho, grandfather of the bride in the presence of immediate family members and close friends. Later in the evening, the couple greeted their many relatives rela-tives and friends at a reception recep-tion at the Steelworkers Hall, and are now making their home in Provo. Lace and tulle were fishioned into a beautiful wedding gown for the lovely young bride. The dress was designed with full skirt with pearl and sequin trim at the neckline and long pointed lace sieves. She carried a bridal bouquet of talisman roses entwined with spider crysanthemums and her veil of sheerest illusion fell from a tiara of seed-pearls and sequins. Attendants included her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Jackie Barrett as matron of honor and Myrna Hill, Judy Carter, Diane Duke, Camille Weight and Dena Loveless were bridesmaids. Their gowns were of irridescent taffetta and they carried bou-luets bou-luets of orange-toned crysanthemums. crysan-themums. Little Wendy Williams Wil-liams was flower girl. The occasion also marked the 25th wedding anniversary anni-versary for the Johnsons. The entire family of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Johnson were together at their home for Thanksgiving Day dinner, including in-cluding Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Johnson and children, Mike, Merilyn and Eddie and Mrs. |
