Show Services held Monday for Vanza D. Kopp Funeral services were held Monday in the Springville Stake House for Vanza Davis Mann Kopp, 54, of 928 East Center, who died Thursday, May 28, 1964, in the Utah Valley Hospital of a heart ailment. ail-ment. Bishop George Puckett of the Seventh Ward officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Kopp was born Nov. 20, 1909 in Spanish Fork, a daugh- ter of Phillip and Catherine Marcusen Davis. She married Alden Verl Mann, Dec. 23, 1929, in Nephi. He died in 1949. On October 23, 1950, she married Edwin E. Kopp in Fillmore. Fill-more. Mrs. Kopp received her education edu-cation in Spanish Fork schools. Following her marriage she made her home in Provo. She moved to Springville in 1933, residing there since. Mrs. Kopp was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as president presi-dent of the YWMIA and as a counselor in the Relief Society. She is survived by her husband hus-band of Springville; three daughters and one son; Mrs. Richard (Lois) Tucker, Provo; Mrs. Larry (Verleen) Steppe, Petaluma, Calif.; Mrs. Wayne (Delora) Blanchard, Springville Spring-ville and Bruce P. Mann, West Co vina, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; grandchild-ren; three brothers, Reece Davis Da-vis and Merthyr Davis, both of Spanish Fork, and Neil Davis of Yucapia, Calif. Recovering Richard Huntington, who has been in the Utah Valley Hospital Hos-pital for the past five weeks after a heart attack, has been returned to his home now. During Dur-ing his illness, his daughter, Luella Kunkel of Canoga Park, Calif., was home for ten days to visit him. For every $1.00 Utahns contributed con-tributed to cancer research $6.68 was returned to Utah by the National ACS for cancer research grants! |
