Show MAPLETON PIONEER DIES; FUNERAL SUNDAY AT 3 P. M. Mrs. Francis Evaline Perry Snow, 81, widow of Edwin M. Snow of Mapleton, died Wednesday Wednes-day morning, at the family residence resi-dence of ailments incident to her age. She was born in Springville, April 26, 1864, a daughter of Stephen C. and Mary Boggs Perr ry. She was married to Mr. Snow in the Salt Lake Endowment House, April 9, 1883, and that same year they moved to Maple-ton Maple-ton where they had since resided. Mr. Snow died in 1927. She has been prominent in church work at Mapleton, having served in the Relief Society presidency pres-idency and as a teacher 26 years. She also worked in Primary and was a member of the choir in the old white meeting house in Springville, and later sang in the Mapleton choir. Both Mr. and Mrs. Snow took prominent part in the settlement nrirtt-rt ar,A in nivip. affairs. OI lvl.iipicl.UAA " ' They built the first brick home in that community. Survivors include two daughters daugh-ters and a son; Mrs. Ruby Jensen, Jen-sen, E. M. Snow, Jr., and Mrs. Ella Johnson all of Mapleton; also 17 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Sunday at 3 p. m., in the Mapleton ward chapel. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary Friday Fri-day afternoon, and at the family residence Friday evening and until time of the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen j cemetery, directed by the Wheeler !
