Show P. W. CRANDALL SERVICES HELD Peter Wells Crandall, 71, died suddenly Sunday night of a heart attack while walking to the First ward church, where he had planned plan-ned to take charge of Sunday night services as chairman of the ward genealogical committee. Funeral services were held in the First ward chapel Wednesday at 2 p. m., with burial in the City cemetery. Mr. Crandall was born in Springville, August 16, 1869, a son of Spicer and Susannah Wum-mer Wum-mer Crandall. He had always lived in Springville and during his early life he followed construction construc-tion work as a vocation. He had been genealogical chairman in the First ward for three years, and had also been assistant chairman of the committee. He had been a ward teacher since 1928, and was a member of the Kolob stake high priests' quorum. He married Ellen Tame in the Manti temple, May 7, 1906. Survivors, besides his widow, are a son and daughter, Gregg Crandall of Springville and Mrs. Blanche Wright of Hurricane; three grandchildren; two brothers, broth-ers, David and John Crandall, both of Springville. |
