Show SPANISH FORK WOMAN DIES IN THIS GiTT Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Spanish Fork Fourth ward chapel Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, for Mrs. Caroline Albertson Johnson, 71, a resident of that city, who died Saturday at 4:15 p. m., at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Leland McKenzie of Springville. Burial was in the Spanish Fork cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born in Ul-sted, Ul-sted, Denmark, October 3, 1865, a daughter of John Peter and Christena Olsen Albertson. She came to Utah alone at the age of 15 years, as a convert to the L.D.S. church. She had made her home for the most part in Spanish Span-ish Fork where she had taken an active part in church work. She had been a Relief Society teacher for a number of years. Her husband, Parley H. Johnson, died about 3 years ago. Surviving, besides Mrs. McKenzie McKen-zie are four sons, Parley H., Gilbert Gil-bert LeRoy, Leonard O. Johnson of Spanish Fork; John A. Johnson, John-son, Springville; a brother, James Albertson, Salt Lake City; four half-brothers, William Johnson, Spanish Fork; Daniel, Francis and Oliver Johnson, Idaho; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Babcock, Castle Gate; 21 grandchildren, one great grandchild. |
