Show LOU L SNYDER DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS Mrs. Lou L. Ashcraft Snyder, G9, of Mapleton, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James Curtis, following a year's illness. She was born in Weber county, coun-ty, April 15, 1870, a daughter of Eli and Lavinia Fullmer Ashcraft. Ash-craft. She spent her early life in Mapleton and later lived at Park City for a number of years. She had been with her daughter for the past eight years. Prior to her illness, she took an active part in L. D. S. church work, having served as secretary secre-tary in the Relief Society for VI years. She was married to George Snyder in the Salt Lake temple in 1893. Mr. Snyder died January 31, 1918. Surviving are three daughters and one son, Mrs. T. L. Rose of Vona, Colo; George Snyder of Phoenix, Ariz; Mrs. Ada Wilson of Salt Lake City; Mrs. James Curtis of Mapleton; 13 grandchildren; grand-children; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, D. O. Ashcraft Ash-craft of Springville; Frank Ashcraft Ash-craft of Los Angeles, Calif." Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m., in the Maple-etion Maple-etion ward chapel. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of A. Y. Wheeler mortuary. mor-tuary. Friends may call at the home of the daughter at Mapleton before be-fore the services. |
