Show W. H. CURTIS LAID AT REST Funeral services for William Henry Curtis, 72, -who died Saturday, Satur-day, were held Monday afternoon in the First ward chapel. Bishop J. Emmett Bird presided. Musical selections were render-! render-! ed by the Pierce sisters, who sang a duet; Frank Bjarnson sang a solo and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown a vocal duet. Speakers were Myron A. Boyer, I. S. Brown and Bishop Bird. iThe invocation was offered by T. j T. Hatch, the benediction was by E. M. Boyer and John H. Manwar-ing Manwar-ing dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Curtis was born in Spring-1 ville, April S, 1868, the son of Levi and Julia Wilde Curtis. He had; dved there all of his life, and had 1 been engaged in farming. Surviving are one son, Will H. Curtis of Salt Lake, one grandson, and the following brothers and sisters: Charles E. Curtis, La Point, Utah; Alpheus and George W. Curtis, Springville ; John Curtis, Provo; Mrs. Julia Wilson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Millie Nelson, Provo; Mrs. Pauline Stumph, California. |
