Show CITY'S BIRTHDAY TO BE OBSERVED . Plans were going forward today to-day for observance of Spring-ville's Spring-ville's birthday on Saturday September Sep-tember 18, at an outing at Kelly's Grove, Hobble Creek canyon, sponsored by various civic organizations organ-izations of the city. According to tentative arrangements, arrange-ments, a bus will leave from the city park at regular intervals throughout the day so that everyone every-one may go to the Grove. It is planned to begin the festivities at the Grove at 10 a.m. with -picnic lunches planned for the noon hour. In the evening, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will present a program pro-gram to which the whole town is being invited. An added attraction of the day will be the city sponsored trips from the Grove to the newculi-nary newculi-nary water project further up in the canyon. Busses or cars will take anyone who desires to make the trip from the Grove to the project during the day. ' Further details of the celebration celebra-tion and outing will be announced in next week's Herald, according to Deal W. Mendenhall, president of the Lions club in charge of publicity. |
