Even though the region title is nice, especially considering the tough competition in Region 4, the Dons have one particular trophy in their sights. The quest for a state championship begins this week when the Dons open up at home against Skyline, the fourth place finisher in Region 2. If the Dons can get past Skyline, they will host the winner of Copper Hills and Northridge. If they slip up, they may be forced to hit the road to stay alive. The Dons may want to get some advice from the 2006 team that won the state title. The 2006 champions were able to win the first two games, which allowed them to get in the winners' bracket and play fewer games to win the title.
