Haslam, 1720 Redondo Ave., gave a patio din-ner at her home for the sewing group from West High School on August 29th. Mrs. Haslam is the sewing instructor for West High. Her guests included Mrs. Edith Green, Mrs. Manao Grambom, Mrs. Connie Thomas, Miss Ann Moser, Miss Elsie D. Adams, Miss Beth Hermson, Miss Mildred Brithall, Mrs. June Brimhall and Mrs. Posselli Organ. "Around The Town"! Tour Of Hawaii Planned Reservations are now being ac-cepted by the "Margaret Lund Tours" for a conducted tour to the Hawaiian Islands and the world famous. Latter-da- y Saints Temple. The tour will leave Salt Lake City on November the 13th and the visitors will spend four-teen wonderful days visiting and exploring the beautiful islands and the temple. Arrangements have been made by Mrs. Lund for the visitors to stay at the home of Bishop Uale of the LDS Church in Laie, Ha-waii. Myrtle Kirk, 2436 Redondo Ave., enjoyed the visit last week of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schofield and their children Jackie and Bob-bie from Seattle Washington. The Scofields were guests of honor at a luncheon held at the Embassy Club on Thursday. On Friday thy were honored at a dinner party for twelve at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Kirk, 1811 Meadowmore Road in Holladay. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Crookston assisted with the preparations for the party. The Schofield family also visit-ed relatives in Pittsburg, Penn-sylvania before stopping in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Keat-le-y, 4543 Willow Road, are enter-taining their 13 year old nephew Dale Oberg of Genola, Utah at their home in Holladay. Plans are made for Dale to visit all the interesting places here in Salt Lake and will top off his vaca-tion fun with trips to Lagoon and Saltair. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Pribyl were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Orson H. Pratt at a patio dinner Aug. 28th. The reason for the festivities is the visit from California of Mrs. Pratt's brother, Frank Lang-to- n, and his son Roger. Mr. Langton left for California on Monday after the visit with the , family.
