These late summer storms have-n't only dampened the ground they, 've kind of dampened my spirits a little. I guess it's because school starts soon, and I hate to say good-by- e to all the summer fun. I realized that you can't live summer over again, everything will be different, and it tugs at my heart strings. I'm really look-ing forward to the fun at school anyway. I think it's just the rain that gets me dreaming about the summer. Whiz, clickety clack, plop those are the sounds that you hear at j a roller skating rink. They play a little with the music and it's really fun to watch as long as you are not the one who grace-fully sits down. I guess a tumble is good for our morale it doesn't let us think that we're too smart The Cannon Stake honored their Youth Chorus by putting-- on a rollerskating party. They went to their Stake Center and had a wonderful dinner afterwards and learned how to do the Tennessee Wig-Wal- k. Some kids have really been taking advantage af their summer time and got themselves jobs. Valerie Haymore has got enough money to buy all her clothes and books for school because she got a job at the Church Offices. Carolyn Day has been helping out in her father's office, Kara Marz did some typing at the Wasatch Cleaners for her dad. Suzanne Brinkman a very talented girl, taught dancing to little kids during the summer. Joanne Doyle works with her dad in the meat department of a grocery store. Russ Davey works as an appren-tice in an architect's office (he made himself a draftsmans table). Jack Longhurst works at Albert-son's in Sugarhouse. Sandy Dolo-wit- z worked on a ranch all summer long. These are just a few I know but there are kids everywhere that have jobs and are really good workers. . My little sister was very un-happy when I came home from Hogle Zoo yesterday she thought that I belonged with the elephants or the monkeys. It started to rain as we walked around looking at the animals. Most of the people ran under trees (which is wrong) one little boy almost got into the racoon cage. I'm going down to the Fair-grounds to try for my Driver's License to-morr- so wish me luck. Bye now, Lynne IX T1IE DISTRICT COURT OF SALT LAKE COUNTY STATE OF UTAH NOTICE No. 40183 In the matter of the adoption of: George Alan Sharp, A Minor.
