Show funeral services for mrs mollie the following account of the funeral services for mrs mollie webber and some added inform tion which was ornit omitted ted last week has been written by her close neighbor and friend mrs H E blake fr publication this week funeral service for mrs dollfe mollie webber was held in the chapel on wednesday afternoon A large crowd of friends gathered to pay their last respects to one of the best loved mothers and frie ps in the county the webbers gebbers came to san juan county from kansas city in 1915 they lived for a time on the mountainside west of monticello later homesteading home land on east summit point where mr we welk passed away in december Dec enber ly shortly after this mrs webber and son albert reed moved to town mrs webber took up nursing as a life work atthe at af the age of 18 and continued in this work for over 60 years giving of her strength and aad ability to the care of the sick in all walks of life the folL following wing program was given at the service prelude sweet hour of prayer played softly by mrs nettie redd 1 I need thee every hour by the choir invocation by A B barton C R christensen paid high tribute to the many days and nights of service given his family in times of illness solo face to face sung by fletcher bron bishop redd spoke of the C MS tian character of the deceased D B perkins told of her gift as a ahme maker and the beautiful ful pieces of handwork hand work adorning her home apil and flowers on the outside violin solo the old rugged cross by tom evans ev ns H lloyd hansen haasen brought to memory her watchful care and efficiency in mothering his children in an hour of need the service at the church closed by the choir singing nearer my god to thee G george eorge F barton pronounced the benediction at the graveside afton barton merle frost and nereece harlan sang unanswered yet karl S barton dedicated the last resting place of the earthly remains of our friend and neighbor mrs webber mollie albert was born in baltimore md april 15 1862 near relatives surviving are albert reed by a former marriage monticello tf ti leonard webber of tacoma wash a granddaughter lois webber kelly of los angeles and a step grandson |
