Show PIONEER WOMAN IS SUMMONED BY DEATH Mrs. Eliza Lyons Groo, a pioneer of Utah, who had lived in the state since 1S63, died yesterday at thc home of her daughter, Mrs. A. II. Woolley, 447 Third East street. General debility was the cause of death. Mrs. Groo was born In England in 1843. Sho spent her childhood there, and In the year 1SG2 she came to Utah, crossing tho plains with a handcart company and arriving here in 1S03. She is survived by live children, Mrs. A. If. Woollov Mrs. H. J. Bywatcr, Mrs. A. M. Woolley, Mrs. W. N. Davis and J. h. Groo. Funeral services will bo hold from the Ninth ward chapel Sundav at 1 o'clock-Tho o'clock-Tho body will He In state at Mrs. Wool-ley's Wool-ley's residence, 447 Third East street, from 11 until 12:30 o'clock Sunday. |
