Show DIED IX HIS SADDLE. Young John Bolton of Payson, Accidentally Acciden-tally Shoots Himself While Biding Bid-ing to Salem. HE DIES ALONE ON THE H10IWAT. The Body is Discovered By Earl Hnsil, and He Eickens at the Ghastly Spectacle. All Payson is talking of the horrible tragedy which cost John Bolton, of that place, his life yesterday. The affair and all of its rlctails are terrible In every respect and probably fne saddest accident that ever occurred Iu that community. John Bolton, aged 'about 15 years, started from Payson 'for Salem. His sister lives in the latter town. Tho boy was in excellent spirits. In front of hint he carried a double-barreled Bliot gun. He was fond of shooting, as most boys of bis years are, and he had hoped to wing some birds on the way. When about a mile and a half east of town John fired a shot before he crossed the canal. As was his custom, ho attempted at-tempted to reload in the saddle, placing his foot on the hammers of tho gun to prevent an explosion. - It was while In this position that the fire arm acci-dently acci-dently discharged Itself. Nobody was near at the time, and the cries of the dying boy were only heard by his Creator. As the hours wore away James Husil and bis sons Carl and Thomas returned to their field to resume work. A portion of the boy's brains lay between his horse's feet, while a little stream of blood and brains slowly' trickled down the shoulder and leg of the .animal. Pieces of the brain and skull were found some distance from the horse. The body of the unfortunate boy was, after some difficulty, taken from the saddle by Officer Bingham and Dr. Shores. Johnny's knees clamped the saddle very tightlysowing to paralysis, he having tieen on tho horse about two hours.
