At the meeting to be held this afternoon after-noon in the West Side high school, for the election of ofT.cers, the nominating committee will name Mrs. E. E. Shep-ard Shep-ard and Mrs. K. B. Parsons for the honorary position. One or the other will be elected unless an independent movement Is unexpectedly sprung at the meeting. The principals and teachers are rery anxious to continue the schools the full year. The principals favor the tuition plan, but there is some opposition to It among the teachers. When the returns from the circular letter, asking the co-operation of the patrons of the schools in making the tuition scheme a success, have been received re-ceived they will be reviewed by the Board of Education.
